With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmie Ray Denmark of Avinger, Texas, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wadie Chism and Mattie Chism; his daughter LaToya Denmark; and his siblings, Billy Denmark and Sherry Denmark.

He is survived by: his wife Toyce Denmark (Dallas); his sons, Jimmie Denmark Jr. (Los Angeles) and Jay Hartfield (Avinger); his close friend Teresa Sharp (Lone Star); his siblings, Kathy Wells (Mount Pleasant), Laura Chism (Hughes Springs), Mary Johnson (Greenville) and Jessie Chism (Kansas); and his cousin Shelia Thomas (Texarkana). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, a nephew, and cousins.
