It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jaylen T. Hatten of Avinger, Texas, who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 13, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Pawpaw. He is survived by: his mother Amber Hatten; his stepfather Rowdy Hamilton; his stepsisters, Lenny and Paisley Hamilton; his grandparents, Jeanette Montgomery (Melvin) and Monty Wesley of Avinger; his great-grandparents, Tommie Lee and Jerry Hatten of Avinger; his uncles, Derrick McCray of Ft. Worth, Kendrick Bacon, Montrey Hatten, Montreal Hatten and Dustin Hatten of Avinger; and his great-uncles and great-aunts, Virginia Linwood of Avinger, Janette Linwood of Longview, Jerry Wayne Hatten of Avinger, Billy Ray Hatten, Anthony Hatten of Longview and Dennis Hatten of Avinger. He is also survived by cousins, other family members and friends.
