It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Parker (Avinger, Texas), born in Belton, Texas, who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sondra LaDon Parker. He is survived by: his children, Trey, Kim Massey of Hughes Springs, TX and Ilona Langlinais of Porter, TX; and his grandchildren, James (Rachelle Massey), Jeton (Ben Thompson), Nikkie, Kerry Bickham of Hughes Springs, TX, Rachael (LeRoy Calk), Mandy (Drew Heyen) and Evan (Stefanie Langlinais). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.

“Papere, you will forever leave a mark on my heart. One of my favorite memories of you is on our visit to Boston. We talked about all of the beautiful plants you had growing. I remember how much fun we had trying to eat all of those lobsters we ordered at the pub and laughing the entire night. I will be forever sad that we could not come down this last month and visit you in the hospital, but I know you were surrounded by as many loving family members as you could be. I love you.”
