He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby D. Thornton and Betty L. Thornton. He is survived by: his close friend Katie Sutton; his stepson T. J. Cureton (Allie); his sister Sharon K. Thornton of Marshall, TX; his half-sister Linda K. Keasler of Northport, AL; and his stepbrother Mike Quilliams of Northport, AL. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
