John Decker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Decker of Avery, Texas, born in Doniphan, Missouri, who passed away on November 4, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesse Decker and Belle Larue Decker; his wife Virginia Decker; his children, Steve Decker (Brenda) of Avery, Alan Decker of Avery and Pamela Broadway (Chuck) of Frisco; and his sister Ruth Brooks of California. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Decker will lie in state at the Avery Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday morning from 11:00 A. M. until 11:45 A. M. Covid-19 regulations apply.
