He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Earl and Melva Lea Harris Jones; his wife Cindy Watts Jones; and his half-sister Evelyn Diane Cobb. He is survived by: his children, Shelby Jones of Garland, Jimmy W. Jones of Texarkana, David (Niki Jones), Christopher (Haley Jones), Dawn Jones of Paulina and Sheila Mack of Mountain Home, Arkansas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
