He is survived by: his wife Marty Murphy; his siblings, Billy Murphy, Mary McDuffie, Margie Lynch and Diannah Lum; his daughters, Holly Harvey (Jeff) of Clarksville and Heather Patterson of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Kaden Moore, Briley Moore, Kyle Patterson, Jaret Palmer, Matthew Armstrong, Breanna Harvey and Leland Harvey; his sister-in-law Myrna Murphy of Avery; his nieces, Donna Whiteman (Steven) of Marlow, Lori Nehrcorn (Bobby) of New Boston, Jeanie Murphy of Dallas, LaDonna Murphy Hunt of Avery and Erin Crow Myers; and his nephew Rusty McDuffie. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
