It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Sue Strause in Avalon, Texas, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Neva Wagner (Rice) and Gottfried Wagner (Fred). She is survived by: her husband Ronald Strause; her siblings, Marcia (Robert Gardner) of Colorado Springs, Larry (Georgeann Wagner) of Houston and Karen Heath; her sons, Kevin (Melissa), Dean (Morgan), Craig (Susan) and Eric (Maria); her adoptive daughters, Julie of Mansfield and Trudy of Ocala, Florida.; her grandchildren, Camille, Derek, Sydney and Avery; and her great grandchildren, Margo and Elliott. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) or a local dog rescue organization of your choice.
