We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2020, at the age of 72, Janice Alford (Austonio, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sy and Frances Vernon Sy; and her siblings, Robert Sy and Judith Evans. She is survived by: her husband W. D. Alford of Austonio; her children, Sandy Newton (John) of Baytown, Jonathon Davidson (Kelly) of Palm Springs, CA, Jeffrey Alford (Michelle) of Austin and William Brian Alford (Krystal) of New Braunfels; her grandchildren, Sara, Katie, Zander, Lila and June; and her brother-in-law K. D. Alford.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
