He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil L. Walter and Louise Toepperwein Walter; and his siblings, Theresa, Gerald and Alfred Walter.
He is survived by: his son William David Walter, Jr.; his wife Maria Mier; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Walter; his daughter Tania Walter Jedele; his son-in-law Kevin Jedele; and his grandsons, Jaxon and Clive Jedele. He is also survived by other cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home (301 E San Antonio St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
