She was predeceased by: her husband Donald P. Haynes. She is survived by: her daughter Eda Haynes Matthews; her grandchildren, Sibel Demiralp and Alan Haynes (Julia Haynes); and her great grandchildren, Timothy Haynes, Melody Haynes and Shiloh Haynes.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.
