She was predeceased by: her husband Eduardo "Ed" Cantu; her parents, Hilario Semersky and Eustatia Arredondo Semersky; her brothers, Larry Semersky, Frank Semersky and Alfred Semersky; and her grandmother Maria Semersky.
She is survived by: her children, Edward L. Cantu (Cynthia), Jerry L. Cantu, Sr. (Linda) and Rachel Cantu; her grandchildren, Lydia (Michael), Brianna (Brandon), Ivan, Elizabeth (Mister), Josiah Cantu, Jerry, Jr., Jazlyn, Jayven, Jaylah, Selina (Steven), Gloria, Jesse, Joe Angel, Jaque, Alexandria and Raymond; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Melody, Liliana, Luis, Zyla, Colby, Axel, Brooklyn, Emmanuel, Jayden, Michael, Makayla, Meranda, Steven, Nickolas, Skyla and Matthew; and her siblings, Aleda Semersky and Jimmy Semersky. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (6204 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78745). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Assumption Cemetery (3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704).
