As Shawn departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Shawn may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shawn leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Floyd; his son Marcus Floyd Spindle; and his sisters, Tammy Lynn Spindle and Robin Kay Spindle. He is survived by: his daughter Erin Jordon Spindle; his daughter-in-law Tammy Spindle; and his grandchildren, Zoe Michelle Spindle and Silas Spindle.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Weed-Corley-Fish South Chapel (2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the Ft Sam Houston National Veteran Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
