He is survived by: his brothers, Daniel and John Gonzales; his children, Vanessa Gonzales, Anna Gonzales-Vidaurri (Samuel Vidaurri), Andrew Vallejo and Orlondo Vallejo; his former wife Olivia Vallejo; his grandchildren, Lillyanna Vidaurri, Alejandro "Hondo" Martinez III, Star Vidaurri, Sebastian "Sebby" Martinez and Gabriel "Bear"; his close friend Gilbert "J. R." Rodriguez; his nephews, Richard Castellon and Edward Gonzales; and his son-in-law Samuel Vidaurri.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel (1615 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78702). A rosary was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home - East Side (1615 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78702). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1206 E 9th St, Austin, TX 78702). A committal service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Austin Memorial Park Cemetery (2800 Hancock Dr, Austin, TX 78731).
