He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Guerra; his children, John Juanito Guerra, Linda Guerra (Lorenzo), Jeannette Trujillo, Raymond Guerra, Jr. (Theresa Leybas), Tonie Eagle and Gabriel Guerra (Marisa Ramirez); his grandchildren, Gabriel Anthony Guerra, Barbara Guerra Deason (Joshua) of Crestview, Anthony Cerda (Diane) of Kansas City, Carl Hudson Jr., Natika Hudson Elam (Alex) of Atlanta, Georgia, Christopher John Trujillo, Benjamin Joseph Trujillo III, Jennifer Trujillo Ramos (Jonathan), Ricky Zamarripa, Elizabeth Grace Guerra, Denise Wicker (Michael), Catherine Salazar (Jose), Michelle Castaneda, Santana Guerra, Adrian Guerra, Adrial Guerra, Crystal Glaze (Ross) and Sara Guerra; and his siblings, Abraham Guerra (Lupe), Frances Martinez and John Guerra (Melissa). He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and many other loving family members and friends.

A rosary was held on Monday, January 1st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (6204 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78745). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1206 E 9th St, Austin, TX 78702).
