It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Randy David Newman (Austin, Texas), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Marty Newman and Rhoda Newman; his brothers, Barry and Brian; his sons, Dan (Kelsey), David (Jenny) and Jon (Emily); and his grandchildren, Rebekah, Caroline, Michael, Victoria, Abigail and Pam.

A graveside service was held on Monday, June 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home (6300 W William Cannon Dr, Austin, TX 78749). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the McLean Presbyterian Church (1020 Balls Hill Rd, McLean, VA 22101).

In lieu of flowers, well-wishers are encouraged to donate to either the Carson Center for Theological Renewal or the Fellowship for Performing Arts in Randy's memory.
