She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, G. D. Lewis and Edna Lewis of Morton, TX.; her husband Steve Schlabach; her sisters, Sue Smith of Ropesville and Gwin Jamerson of Midland; her children, Julie Schlabach (Marco Ortiz), Amy Schlabach Trest (Scott Trest), Darin Schlabach and Mindy Schlabach Perez (David Perez); and her grandchildren, Alex Schlabach, Alyssa Schlabach, Connor Trest and Cruz Perez.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Penny's memory.
