We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2024, at the age of 89, Norman Elwyn Hooton in Austin, Texas, born in Avinger, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norman Elwyn Hooton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Roy and Virginia Aline Hooton. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bates Hooton; his children, Lori Hooton Toungate (Jay) and Lance Hooton (Kimberly); his stepchildren, Sammy Higginbotham (Pam), Dennis Higginbotham (Cindy), Lisa Carter (Brian) and Danny Bates (Lynn); and his grandchildren, Lane Toungate, Lauren Toungate, Aaron Hooton and Brooklyn Hooton. He is also survived by 15 step-grandchildren and 17 step-great grandchildren.
