With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Viola (Escobar) Contreras (Austin, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Santos Escobar and Paula Escobar; and her siblings, Mary, Rachel, Roy and Rudy.
She is survived by: her husband Felix; her children, Mia (Brian), Jason (Brenda) and Justin; her grandchildren, Tristan, Braden, Dylan, Dustin, Logan, Liliana, Rylan, Quinn and Bronson; her sisters-in-law, Delia, Vangie, Carolyn and Lydia; and her cousins, Emma and Arba (Mary).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weed-Corley-Fish South Chapel (2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (4800 Convict Hill Rd, Austin, TX 78749).
