It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Hardie in Austin, Texas, born in Temple, Texas, who passed away on August 12, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joanna Teas and Rollins Teas. She is survived by: her husband Jim Hardie; her stepdaughter Melisa Cummings (Ross); her sons, James Hardie (Lara) and Brett Hardie; her grandchildren, Carson Cummings, Adair Cummings (Nick), Hilton Hardie (Julie), Ryan Shigematsu (Ryo) and Drew Hardie; her great grandchildren, Carson and Joanna Belisle; her brother Dr. Sam Teas (Carolyn) of Salado; and her caregivers, Rossi, Diana, Lupita and Rosio.
In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Nancy may be directed to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research or charity of your choice.
