He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Donald Francis and Ada Francis (Benham); his grandfather Milton; and his brother Donald Ray Francis. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Vicki Jo Powers, Cheri Lynn Andrews (David) and Eric Matthew Hild (Kim); and his grandchildren, Emily Frances Powers, Chloe Victoria Powers, Trevor Mason Andrews, Carly Paige Andrews, Calvin Harrison Hild and Kenedy Eliza Hild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Moontower Cider Company (1916 Tillery St, Austin, TX 78723). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (6600 Woodrow Ave, Austin, TX 78757). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Austin Memorial Park (2800 Hancock Dr, Austin, TX 78731).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of the nonprofits Milton dedicated his career to: National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation , and American Cancer Society.
