It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Rowland Cook (Austin, Texas), born in Washington, Texas, who passed away on August 30, 2019, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Steve Elmshaeuser; and his stepfather Ernest Boardman. He is survived by: his friend Rosie Slacks; his wife Catherine Cook; his parents, April Boardman and Rowland Cook; his stepmother Diane Ireson; his siblings, Samantha Cook (Evie Borthwick), Josh Cook (Diana) and Abby Cook Whitworth (Sam); his stepsiblings, Eric Perlmutter and Lindsay Fitzpatrick (Fritz); his father-in-law Carolynn; his brothers-in-law, Paul Elmshaeuser (Kristen) and Tim Elmshaeuser (Kimberly); his nieces and nephews, Ashleigh Elmshaeuser, Jakob Elmshaeuser, Scott Elmshaeuser, Bridget Elmshaeuser, Toby Whitworth, Zach Whitworth, Jessica Cook, Emma Perlmutter, Joe Whitworth, Adam Perlmutter, Betsy Fitzpatrick and Teddy Fitzpatrick; and his pets, Millie, Quinn and Catniss. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
