It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marshall W. Alexander Jr. in Austin, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Marshall departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Marshall. Though Marshall may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Wooten Alexander, Sr. and Darlene May Ripper (Lightner). He is survived by: his sister Linda Yeatts (Malcolm); and his cousin Houston.

A longtime coach of youth football and softball, Alexander was also recognized for his donations to World Vision.
