She was predeceased by: her son Thomas Gregory Barnett; and her husband Dr. Thomas Barnett. She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Barnett; her daughter-in-law Juli Barnett; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Barnett Jr. and Jessica Barnett; and her siblings, Dottie Ellis of Tyler and Charles Steele (Kathy) of Bertram, Texas.. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
