He was predeceased by: his parents, Estaban Murrieta and Eulalia Zamarripa Murrieta; his son Jacob; his daughter-in-law Sally Murrieta; his grandson Charles Murrieta; his great grandchild Damien Valdez; his siblings, Mike Murrieta, Paulina Garcia, Maria Murrieta, Antonia Ruiz and Benita De La Rosa; and his son-in-law Marcus Barron.
