Lee Roy Pyssen Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lee Roy Pyssen Jr. of Austin, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Laura; his parents, Lee Roy and Julia Pyssen; and his siblings, Bobby Pyssen (Zada) and Mary Ann Powell.
He is survived by: his sister Dixie (JD Laird); his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Pulver and Frances (Tom Gregg); his children, Royce (Tana Pyssen) of Wall, Laura Beth (Bart Gibbs) of Rockdale and Judith (Jason Carpenter) of Rockdale; his grandchildren, Allison (Justin Strube), Jacob (Brooke Carpenter), Brandon (Jennifer Gibbs), Jared Carpenter, Clayton (Kaitlyn Gibbs) and Joli Carpenter; and his great grandchildren, Stehl, Suede Strube, Collyns, Callen Gibbs, Peyton, Carson Carpenter and Hallie Gibbs. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Iago Community Church (7167 FM 1096, Boling-Iago, TX 77420).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the charity/organization of your choice or the Iago Community Church.
