He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Mitchell; his son Ladell Mitchell (Noemi); his grandchildren, Denaijah, Mace and Mikayla; his siblings, Naomi Mitchell Carrier, Linda Mitchell, Kenneth Mitchell, Fayette Mitchell Harvin, Frances Mitchell-Wells, Amarylis Mimi Mitchell and Michael Mitchell; and his friend Larry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services (2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Assumption Cemetery (3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704).
