“A year or so ago, I walked into a small group of people working on learning to play the ukulele. I met there, probably the nicest person whom I have ever known. Kevin led that little group with style and gusto and made it fun for everyone. I may have been his worst student, but I reveled in his friendship and in his honest and wholehearted acceptance of everyone who showed up for the meetings. He was a wonderful musician, teacher, friend and all round fine human being. I miss him very much.”
