He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Tate and Doris Tate. He is survived by: his sister Darla Elam of Llano; his nieces, Jamie Syx (Jason) of Lampasas, Stacy Oncken (John) of Lampasas and Dana Oglesby (Steven) of Salado; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hunter Oncken (Lampasas), Tyler Oglesby (Temple), Hadley Oncken (San Angelo), Kayli Syx (Lubbock), Haegan Oncken (Lampasas), Hudson and Emma Oglesby (Salado); and also Koy Oncken (Lampasas).
In Ken's honor, memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1803 FM 1431, Marble Falls, TX.
