He was predeceased by: his father Jesus O. Cervantes; and his brothers-in-law, Mark Asbill and Jesse Castro. He is survived by: his mother Maria Cervantes; his wife Cynthia Cervantes; his children, Christopher Cervantes (Brianna), Jory Cervantes (Mace) and Tiffany Saldana (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Avery B. Cervantes, Nathan R. Cervantes, Alivia J. Cervantes and Cameron J. Cervantes; and his siblings, Graciela Bakluda, Lily Asbill, Jesse Cervantes (Maria), Mary Guerrero (Paul), Margie Castro, Alice Cervantes, Lety Cervantes, Christina Benites (Robert), Martha Jaramillo (Adam), David Cervantes (Lorraine), Freddy Cervantes and Linda Cervantes (Martin). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (6204 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78745). A rosary was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
