He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Hartman; his parents, Reba Hartman and Israel Hartman; his daughter Debbie Lea; his siblings, Midge Hartman Reeves, Ray Hartman, Edd Hartman and R. D. Hartman; his niece Donna Blanscett; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Bailey and Harold Hodgson.
He is survived by: his sister Winnie Blanscett of Midland; his children, Steve Hartman of Opelousas, LA, Debra Hartman Hough (Joe) of New Braunfels, Gary Hartman (Francine) of Austin, David Hartman (Robin) of Pflugerville, Daniel Hartman of Buda, Cindy Weatherford, Terry Weatherford of Odessa, Bobby Lea of Odessa and Pam Ritchie of Odessa; his grandchildren, Mary Hartman Smith, Brian Hartman, Matthew Hartman, Stephen Michael Hartman (Stevie), Joseph Hough, Rachel Hough, John Hough, Wendy Ballard, Stormy Fisher, Tarena Stormes, Stephen Lea, Jonie Lea Driggers, Jamie Lea Halsell, Cody Ritchie and Amy Ritchie; his friend Harold Armstrong; and also Debra. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
