He is survived by: his wife Linda Briseño; his children, Melissa Gallardo-Haros (Carlos Jr.), Denise Gallardo and Omar Azmitia-Gallardo; his grandchildren, Leticia Gallardo (Delbert Hoy), John Carlos Haros (Emma Allen) and Chloe Rivera; his great grandchildren, Vida Linda Velazquez, Vincent and Valentine Hoy; and his sisters, Mary Gonzales (Guera), Katy Sanchez (Juan), Frances Loera, Lupita Govea (Dan), Virginia Jenkins and Rosalie Jackson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
