We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2025, at the age of 83, John Burnett Fitzpatrick of Austin, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John Burnett departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John Burnett. Though John Burnett may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Henry Fitzpatrick and Anna Jean Burnett. He is survived by: his children, Farah Fitzpatrick Welch and John David Fitzpatrick (Nicole); his grandchildren, James Phillip Welch, Anna Elizabeth Welch, Hudson Luke Fitzpatrick and Caden John Fitzpatrick; and his brother Phillip David Fitzpatrick (Edna) of Waco. He is also survived by nephews and other extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home (3125 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78705).
