She was predeceased by: her father Manuel Mata; and her brother Santiago Herrera Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Olivia Cantu (Pedro Constancio); her daughters, Laura Lopez and Jessica Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Aaliyah, MIa, Manuel, Davina, Anthony, Ariel, Pablo, Anna Lynn, Jovani and Riyla; her sisters, Mary Luna, Maggie Lugo (Jorge), Sandra Mata, Judy Martinez and Rosa Nino (Victorino); and her stepmother Olivia Mata. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (6204 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78745). A prayer will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Assumption Cemetery (3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704).
