He was predeceased by: his father Jesus M. Cervantez, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Aurora Cervantez, (Cedillo) of Austin; his children, Jessika Cervantez of La Pryor, Jesus Melecio Cervantez III of Killeen and Jericko Cervantez of La Pryor; and his siblings, Reyna Ortiz of Austin, Elisa Lopez of Austin and Daniel Cervantez of Austin. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary (220 S Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A rosary will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Josephs Catholic Church (618 San Jose St, La Pryor, TX 78872).
