He was predeceased by: his parents, Etoise Theresa Hill Graves and Joseph Graves Sr. Jesse; his brothers, Michael and Joseph Jr.; his daughter Donita Graves; his sister Bonnie Graves Wilkes; and his grandmother Rosetta Graham Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Teressa F. Graves; his daughter Reverend Brittany Reneè Graves; and his siblings, Donald Graves (Marva) of San Diego, California, Etoise Graves McDonald (Norris) of Austin, Texas and Marsha Graves of Wagoner. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and a multitude of friends.
