She was predeceased by: her siblings, Olivia Cox Magee, Mary Louise Cox of Ward, Christy M. Cox and Tyrus Raymond Cox; and her pet Buddy.
She is survived by: her siblings, Raymond Alvie Cox and Jeanna Stella Hill Cox; her former husband Richard Cox; her son David Stekoll (Margie) of Austin; her sister-in-law Melba Cox of Austin; and her stepchildren, John Cox (Sharron) of Berkeley Springs and Mary Lou Wolting (Al) of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and six nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Jean requested contributions be made to the Covenant United Methodist Church, 4410 Duval Road.
