She is survived by: her children, Delia Castro, Dolores Foster (Troy) and David Castro (Frances); her grandchildren, Joseph Requejo (Sherri), Daniel Medina (Lety), Michael Medina (Jackie), Deserah Telles (Rocky), Brian, Tiffany (Tomas), David Castro, Jr., Jacob Rodriguez, Joe Requejo, III, Christopher Requejo and Kaylee Requejo; and her sister Nellie Rodriguez. She is also survived by many other Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel (1615 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78702). A rosary was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Cristo Rey Catholic Church (2208 E 2nd St, Austin, TX 78702). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
