He was predeceased by: his son Michael A. Lopez, Sr.; his parents, Isabel Lopez, Sr. and Maria Ramos Lopez; his sisters, Angie Vasquez and Josie Quiroz (Pete); and his brother-in-law Jesse Sanchez.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Lopez; his daughters, Melinda Zuniga (Edward) and Catherine L. Deleon (Richard); his grandchildren, Michael Lopez, Jr. (Lorraine), Michaela Flores (Michael), Rebecca J. Zuniga (Juan), Viviana V. Hines (Jeff), Ariel Hare (Jason) and Harley Blaschke (Joshua); his sister Terrie Sanchez; and his brother-in-law John. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (6204 S 1st St, Austin, TX 78745). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
