We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2021, at the age of 75, Harriet Jean Smootz (Austin, Texas), born in San Antonio, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Eugene George and Bernice Harriet George (Wallis); and her brothers, Joseph B. George, Gerald W. George and James J. George.

She is survived by: her husband Edwin Randall Smootz; her sons, Jesse Romigh IV and Derek Randall Smootz (Rebecca); and her grandchildren, Jessica Romigh, Malcolm Smootz and Céilí Smootz. She is also survived by parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and long lost relatives - not to mention her dear husband, her wonderful sons, and her delightful grandchildren.
