He is survived by: his father Frank Zapata; his siblings, Annette Wheeler and Orlando Zapata; his children, Ryan Zapata, Zachary Zapata and Nathaniel Gonzales; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Reina and Ariella; and his nieces and nephews, Renay Zapata, Ayden, Annika and Anden Wheeler. He is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cristo Rey Catholic Church (2208 E 2nd St, Austin, TX 78702). A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at the Assumption Cemetery (3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704).
