She was predeceased by: her parents, Reyes Cruz and Esther De La Cruz; her brothers, Angel, Gilbert, Fidel "Billy", Pedro "Pete" and Rodolfo "Rudy"; and her nephew Joey.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Wilson (Victoria) and John De La Cruz Sr. (Erica); her grandchildren, Rodney, Chelsea, Sean, Andre, John Jr., Immanuel, Beyonca, Abigail and Isabella; her great grandchildren, Eli, Noah, Michael and Ximena; and her sisters, Frances Gonzales, Irene "Nene", Linda and Rosalinda "Dodie" Reyna (Jesse). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home Heritage Chapel (1615 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78702). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home – East Austin (1615 E Cesar Chavez St, Austin, TX 78702). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1206 E 9th St, Austin, TX 78702). A committal service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Assumption Cemetery (3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704).
