With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernest Woodby (Austin, Texas), born in Knoxville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Ann; his sons, Tom (Marti), Greg (Amy), Scott (Robin) and David (Kim); his siblings, Shirley Blake, Anne Folsom Smith (Frank) of Sarasota, FL and David Woodby (Dot) of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Grant, Hope, Whitney, Alex, Julia, Tyler, Emily, Tanner, Sarah and Taylr; and his great grandchildren, Aidan, Will, Birdie, Luke, Trevor, Davis and Hallie.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Great Hills Baptist Church, The Women of Pader, Gideon's International or Boys Town.
