We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Elizabeth Huerta Sustaita (Austin, Texas), born in Del Rio, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Senona Huerta and Candelora Huerta; her siblings, Esequiel Huerta, Raquel Martinez and Armando Huerta; and her grandchild LCpl David Benavides.

She is survived by: her husband Salvador; her children, Salvador, Jr., Norma, Selina, Daniel and Rebecca; and her sister Febe Rivera. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home (2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Weed Corley Fish Chapel (2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704).

“There's memories of the times our family would travel from Illinois to Texas to visit her sister, Elizabeth and other family members. Our visits turned into moving down the block from Elizabeth and her family. This made my mother happy, that she was residing so close to her sister. Especially when their younger sister would visit and stay with Elizabeth. There was always good food, laughter and stories. My Condolences to 'The Sustaita Family.”
