He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Lytle and Geraldine Lytle; his brothers, Samuel and Timothy; and his former wife Jeanne Kay Urban.
He is survived by: his wife Bernie; his children, Nathaniel Lytle (Lisa), Misty Lytle Barrera (Pedro) and Christianne Hale (Kevin); his siblings, Dee Dee (Jim), Stephen (Bernadette), Jon (Marcy) and David (Gloria); and his sister-in-law Louise Linarez. He is also survived by Eight grandchildren; One great-grandchild.
The lying in state was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Elgin Funeral Home (712 N Avenue C, Elgin, TX 78621). Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Freedom Tree Church (5201 Martin Ave, Austin, TX 78751). A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Onion Creek Cemetery (11610 Chapel Ln, Austin, TX 78748).
Even though Alzheimer's stole a lot from him, it could not steal his joy.
