He is survived by: his mother Jean James; his siblings, Steven Johnson, Sr. and Sheryl Walton; his nieces and nephews, LaKisha Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Mark Carter and Steven Johnson, Jr.; his aunts, Valoria Porter of Austin and Ella Fay Davis (Tommie Davis III) of Los Angeles, California; and his uncle Howard Glover, Sr. (Alice) of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by three great-nieces, two great-nephews, and one great-great-nephew.
