He was predeceased by: his parents, H. E. Clawson and Margie Clawson (Hyden); and his siblings, Patsy, Hubert, Nancy and Joey.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Clawson; and his sons, Ricky Clawson, Russell Clawson (April) and Rex Clawson (Lorilee). He is also survived by nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and a few honorary grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home (14501 N Interstate Hwy 35, Austin, TX 78753). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (1010 Black Locust Drive East, Pflugerville, TX 78660).
