Bonnie Lou Betts Obituary

I am sad to announce that on May 25, 2020, at the age of 62, Bonnie Lou Betts (Austin, Texas) passed away. She was a Military Veteran of 30+ years and retired from the IRS after decades of service there. She was always hard working and did everything by herself after my father passed away in 1983. She was a widow from that point on and never remarried. Being a single mother during those times was anything but easy and it left my mother with several challenges she would need to overcome for several years ahead. She was the best mother that anyone could ask for and she always made sure the holidays were filled with gifts even if she had to work 3 jobs to get it done. My mother was also very caring to everyone she met and she left an impression of warmth and trust afterward. She will always be remembered for the service she provided to her country, family, and friends. She is remembered by her son Arthur Maynard Betts II. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bonnie Lou Betts to pay them a last tribute. You may also light a candle in honor of Bonnie Lou Betts.

“Bonnie is missed every day, yet will remain implanted in the hearts she touched. One of her greatest accomplishments was to single-handedly raise her son, whom she loved with all her heart. Her strength and determination will carry on through him. May she now be at peace in her eternal home in the Heavens. She will not be forgotten.”
