She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Stapper; her son Robert Stapper; her son-in-law Thomas Gietl; and her sisters, Roberta Williams, Ada Hohl and Tena Wurzbach.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Gietl Luehrs and John Stapper; her daughter-in-law Carol Stapper of Austin, Texas; her sister Freddie Fernbach of Houston, Texas; her granddaughter Megan Gietl Ioimo (Joseph); her great grandchild Kathleen Ioimo; her daughter Josephine; and her granddaughters, Alexandra Stapper of Austin, Sierra Stapper of San Antonio, Elizabeth Stapper of Clinton, Jenna Gietl of Washington, DC, Andrea Stapper of Austin and Anne Marie Stapper of Austin, Texas.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
