It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Craig Smirl in Aubrey, Texas, who passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John Smirl; and his brother Drew Smirl. He is survived by: his children, Ashley Norton (Richard) of Divide and Dusty Smirl (Andie) of Sanger; his mother Cleo Turner Smirl of Aubrey; his siblings, Cara Reynolds (Benny) of Palatka and Lane Smirl of Celina, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Creagan, Laken Norton and Gunter Smirl.

“In loving memory of Walter Craig Smirl, So dearly loved. So sadly missed. God bless. Craig was my true love and best friend. I gave him my heart and he gave me his. These last few year’s he been on the front row of a battlefield with the courage to keep fighting and no fear of dying. The last Saturday before he grew his wings. His guardian angel came and explained to him the process of going to heaven. Our last time as one. I’m celebrating his life ,so his memories will live forever. 😘”
